An integral part of our weekly delivery service to Spain and Portugal is our cold storage and dispatch facility, operated for us by Polarkold in Fareham, Hampshire. Within this facility is our Veterinary Control Unit. Our Contracted Vet oversees all exports, completing and authorising exports for Dairy, Meat and Composite Porducts.
The team at Polarkold consolidate deliveries, load our trucks and containers, looking after all the stocks, shipping document and goods in. and out. Customers or suppliers can book in their pallets online by clicking on Coldstore Booking In.
Celtic Cold Stores is our brand new, dedicated Bakery freezing and packing plant. Opened in 2020, all of the Bread and morning goods are frozen, labelled, boxed and palletised at this site, making sure it is in prime condition when it arrives to our customers.
The depot holds a BRC Certificated Grade AA Accreditation.
